Minimum Wage

In Georgia, the minimum wage is determined by the Tripartite Commission of Social Partnership, which involves consultations with the government. The minimum wage has not been revised since 2006 and remains at GEL 20 (Georgian lari) per month. This is equivalent to GBP 5.70/ EUR 6.79.

Payroll Frequency

Employers in Georgia are legally required to pay salaries at least once a month. Any delay in payments or settlements obligates the employer to compensate the employee with an additional 0.07% of the delayed amount for each day the payment is late.

Bonuses, Profit Sharing, and Other Compensation

Georgia's labour laws do not mandate the provision of bonuses, profit-sharing schemes, or any other additional types of compensation. While employers may offer these benefits at their discretion to attract and retain talent, there are no legal requirements to do so.
