Challenge
Mama Cash adopted a remote-first approach to expand its global reach, attracting diverse talent across countries including Armenia, Belgium, Botswana, Colombia, Georgia, Germany, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, South Africa, Sweden, United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe.
However, ensuring equitable pay and benefits for all staff, regardless of location, was challenging due to the diverse regulatory landscapes. To uphold fairness and support their mission, the NGO required a reliable talent management partner adept at navigating complex international employment, compliance, and payroll demands.

Working with Atlas
Partnering with Atlas allowed Mama Cash to standardize employment conditions across 14 countries, extending Dutch Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) standards to its entire workforce. The organization was able to uphold its mission of justice and equality for employees worldwide, ensuring they kept key talent.
Atlas supported Mama Cash in converting nearly 100% of contractors to full-time employees, ensuring compliance and equity. By hosting group calls to address concerns, tailoring employment agreements to include benefits, and providing gross-to-net salary simulations, Atlas facilitated a smooth transition, aligning roles and responsibilities while retaining key talent.
