Charting the Course for Tomorrow’s Workforce: Atlas Builds Out Its Executive Team (Part 2)
Following on from our previous post where we looked towards Atlas’ next decade of growth and how we continue to lead the way forward for the global EOR industry, we’re pleased to introduce you to some more of our refreshed executive team and discover that they drive our priorities into the next decade and beyond.
Recent research suggests that there are critical talent shortages in the global labor market, with 75% of global employees reporting difficulties in filling roles. As businesses vie for talent in this increasingly competitive landscape, the experience for employees on the ground has emerged as a critical differentiator.
EORs are recognizing the importance of prioritizing employee well-being and satisfaction to attract and retain top talent on behalf of their clients. Our customer and client experience are central to the success of all we do and that is why Anthony Smith, our former COO, has moved into the newly established role of Chief Experience Officer.
In this new role, Anthony will direct efforts to understand and advocate for our customers’ needs and interests. This includes listening to the voice of the client and market and helping to translate this feedback into Atlas’ service roadmap, collaborating internal design and technology teams to guide innovation and leading the global account management team to provide differentiated, personalized experiences for our customers. All of this, combined, will help our clients deploy their global human capital strategies in ways to meet their growth objectives.
Future-focused EORs will invest in initiatives such as wellness programs, professional development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements to foster a positive work environment and drive employee engagement. By championing the interests of both employers and workers, Atlas will continue to lead the way as a trusted partner in our clients’ talent management and retention strategies.
The EOR industry is on the cusp of a technological revolution, driven by the seamless integration of cutting-edge tools and platforms with world-class service delivery. From automated payroll systems to AI-powered recruitment algorithms, technology will continue to play a pivotal role in elevating the efficiency and effectiveness of EOR services.
To enhance the delivery of our EOR services through a world-class product, Warren Perlman joined Atlas as the Chief Technology Officer in the latter half of 2023. His addition brings a wealth of technical expertise and a rich history of innovation to the Atlas leadership team.
With an extensive background in building and scaling HR and HXM (Human Experience Management) technology for global organizations, Warren has a proven track record. Prior to joining Atlas, he co-founded the companies Workbrain and Dayforce, boasting over 20 years of experience as an HR technology practitioner.
With the global EOR industry growing at such a rapid pace, there has been a flood of new service providers in the market over the past five years. There are so many options now available for businesses that are looking for a trusted EOR partner to help with international expansion, so it’s imperative that they find the right partner for their specific needs.
Seamus Moore has taken over as the CMO of Atlas in recent months. Prior to joining Atlas, Seamus was the CMO for Groupon, sitting on the international board and building out the marketing function globally. He has also worked for Paddy Power, O2 Telefonica, and Hewlett Packard in a career that spans 25+ years.
With Atlas, his focus is building out a global brand for Atlas that highlights our key differentiators in a crowded market — our direct EOR model and focus on experience for clients and their workforce.
Atlas remains the largest Employer of Record with a 100% direct model. As opposed to the indirect or hybrid models of competitors, being a direct Employer of Record means that Atlas has its own business entities established in the countries where its employees are hired, so it never needs to outsource its legal employer status or depend on local third party EOR providers. This has immediate benefits for clients in terms of transparency and compliance, as well as an unrivalled level of local expertise and support for their talent.
With his team across APAC, Europe, and North America, Seamus is crafting a global brand message that resonates within the cultural nuances of each region. Consistency is key across all touchpoints, from the website, marketing sales material, and customer interactions, building trust and credibility with our customers and proving why Atlas is one of the most trusted and experienced providers.
